This original design by GatewayAlpha, lightweight, reversible wooden cougar/panther/jaguar head pendant is artfully hand carved in Desert Ironwood, a rare hardwood that can be found only in remote parts of the Arizona desert, a wood highly diverse in colors and patterns, making this wearable art pendant unique and one of a kind. These images show the actual pendant you will receive. However, this particular wood darkens with age, therefore by the time you will receive this pendant the wood might have settled into darker brown tones.
- This pendant measures approximately 1.3" tall by 1.75" wide, and for a better visualization of its size please check out the picture with the pendant next to a US quarter.
- The pendant comes with an adjustable 18-20" (47-51cm) black Korea waxed cord with lobster clasp, ready to wear. The waxed cord has a shinny snakeskin like texture and is a great non-fraying alternative to leather.

The pendant is sealed with three or more layers of wood lacquer in order to protect the wood against moisture and the environment. The lacquer makes the pendant moisture resistant, but not waterproof. We recommend for this product to be removed before workouts, showering or swimming.
The exotic and domestic woods we are using to create our products come from small pieces (trims) left behind by the musical instruments and deluxe furniture outlining process. Our products are not machine produced, but exclusively carved by hand.
